Intensive Course and Sightseeing, 14 days, including bed and breakfast in Hamburg

 

In the first week (Monday until Friday) we'll have 2 hours German lessons after breakfast. The lessons will be created according to your individual level of the German language. After that I will show you some interesting sights of Hamburg and we will enjoy various cultural events. This program will be created together with you, depending on your personal preferences. You can choose between sportive activities like cycling or inline scating in the recreation area right next to my house. Or you can enjoy a nice walk on the beach of Blankenese (5 minutes away by bicycle) and walk around this most beautiful and expensive area of Hamburg. You can make a boat trip in the harbour and the "Speicherstadt" and choose between all the sights, museums and exhibitions of the city. All those trips will be prepared with a special vocabulary so that you will have the benefit of being student and tourist at the same time.

 

The rest of the day you can do what you like, you might walk around in the different areas of the city and do some shopping. You can relax at home, or even study. You also spend the weekend according to your wishes. I've got 3 bicycles for tours and the subway is just a 3 minutes walk away. With a cheap weekend ticket you can take even with several persons all the subways, busses and ferries, day and night.

 

The second week we will study German for 4 hours a day. After breakfast we will prepare certain tasks for 2 hours. When you return fom your task we will talk about it in another 2 hour period. The tasks will be chosen according to your level of the German language. Depending on how many people take part in the program you'll share the lessons and activities, some tasks you might do alone.

 

You can bring another person as company, who can join us for the excursions and activities. They will not take part in the lessons. I can offer an accomodation for 4 - 6 persons.

 

We always start on Mondays, so it would be the best to arrive and leave on a Sunday, if possible. The costs of your travel are not included.

The prices are including bed and breakfast. If you wish we can have the meals together at home or you can eat in town. There's a supermarket 3 minutes away from my house and I have 2 kitchens, so there's also the possibility that you prepare your own food. Just as you wish.
