The principle

The method Living and learning with your private teacher  is not only effective, it also combines the hard work of learning a new language with a certain holiday feeling. By sharing my home you'll have the opportunity to get to know the German language and mentality from a very private view.

And you will have the chance to spend some time in a very interesting city - the Germans selected Hamburg among all German cities as the most beautiful.

I live in the West of Hamburg, in Sülldorf, not far from Blankenese. That's the area where all the rich people live, with beautiful houses and beaches. Sülldorf is like a village with old farm houses and horse ranches, but it's a district of Hamburg. It's right next to the nature reserve "Klövensteen", the recreation area of Hamburg. Here you have the possibility to enjoy long walks through the fields and woods, or to use the asphalt surfaces for inline scating or bicycle tours.

It's only a 3 minutes walk to the subway station from my house and it takes  20 minutes to the centre with all its shopping areas, the harbour and various sights.

Together we will arrange a program for our daily excursions, according to your preferences.

But you will experience the events as a student, and not just as a tourist.

In our daily lessons we will prepare and follow-up the excursions with a special vocabulary and phrases.

The lessons will be structured individually. I've been working as a German teacher with foreigners for 25 years and I've been teaching all kinds of levels. Even if you don't speak a word of German, don't be afraid of spending two weeks in my place, you will learn quickly to communicate in German and I'm sure that you will enjoy yourself.

Of course you can bring an accompanying person, I've got space for 4 - 6 persons. For those who like to have some more privacy,

I can offer a seperate 2- room apartment  in my house, otherwise I have one room for 1 - 2 persons in my place.
